The VHB™ GPH 060GF tape is designed for bonding product parts with precision, reliability, and strength.
VHB stands for very high bond and the new GPH series is a general purpose, high temperature, conformable, double coated acrylic foam tape with a high initial tack and a soft foam.
The 3M GPH is used extensively as a number one choice for many indoor and outdoor applications, often as an alternative to liquid adhesives and mechanical fasteners (see related posts for more details). This could be in industries such as metal fabrication, signage, white goods and specialty vehicles.
This is because of its capability to bond to a variety of substrates, making it a good fit for multi material bonding. This includes those substrates that have a high or medium surface energy including many metals (e.g. stainless steel) and plastics (e.g. Polyamide, PMMA, ABS).
